Today I've got something very exciting for you. I'm going to be showing you a Nifeliz set that beats Lego .
What's up, guys? Welcome back to our blog. It's Victor from the Nifeliz team here. Nifeliz's sets are not Lego but compatible.
Today we're going to be reviewing this great car. First things first, we're going to learn about its details.
— Set details —
Oh, boy. This is quite a set. This one is called Nifeliz Pickup Truck M150 6x6 Car Building Kit and it consists of 3218 pieces. So this is a modified version of a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 truck and as you can see, it looks amazing. On the box, this says it's recommended for ages 16 and up. Okay, let's open this up and show you guys what's inside.
And now for the moment of truth: we have got an instruction manual, a bunch of stickers, a whole bunch of pieces, and 7 wheels. Next up, I'm going to count the bags. One, two, three... sixty-three. We have got 63 bags.
— Why we like long builds —
This build is going to be one of those builds which seems a bit more difficult at first, but you are going to end up loving it.
We've got a lot more biggies than I had in the other one and I can already tell that this is going to take some time. If you have experience with building large Nifeliz or Lego sets, I'd say you can get this one right here, but if not, maybe you could start off with one of Nifeliz's mini builds. But for me, I like long builds. I would challenge myself and buy it, even if it is the first Nifeliz set you've built.
We visited IKEA just the other day. It was yesterday and unfortunately I got something very simple like IKEA's Pleja. I like doing time-lapse assemblies, but this was so easy that no time-lapse required and very little assembly required. So this was way too easy unfortunately. I would much rather have a long and more difficult assembly to do, but I've got the simplest build. That was my only IKEA assembly in a long time.
If you buy this, you'll see why. So yeah, go for it.
— Completion —
Hey, guys. Welcome back. So as you can see, we are finished with Nifeliz Cars Collectible Building Blocks Toy for Adults. This thing took us about three days to make and we had a lot of fun building it.
So we started off by building the motor and the rest of the drivetrain. Two of these control arms go all through the whole thing just to make the tires turn and then you have to build around all of this stuff to to make the body, to make this shape. When we were even in the middle of being finished, it was like that was not a truck, but then when we finished it, we felt like that was a truck. However, it was very interesting to see how everything worked.
— The user-friendly instructions —
The instructions of Nifeliz 1:8 Scale Race Car Model Engineering Toy were easy to follow, for the instruction manual has different numbers for different steps and all the bags are numbered. All we needed to do was find the bag with the number we were looking for.
Besides, in the instructions, it does make every step super clear. When you finish a step, all of the bricks turn grey. Hopefully you can see that and then in the next step of instructions, the bricks you need are highlighted.
When it comes to a Technic build, this is a great idea.
Perhaps the most frustrating part of building a Technic model is making a mistake and not realizing it right away. What invariably happens is that you're linking all these pieces together. Once you have a structure built, it’s basically impossible to go back and add something or fix something that you did wrong. In most stacking block sets, you can usually trace back the steps, find your mistake, find it on the model and then do some little building block surgery and then either stick in a piece or remove a piece or switch it around. However, as for a Technic build, you really can't do that. In order to get back to them, you have to disassemble everything that comes after. Imagine your dismay and surprise when you actually have to disassemble everything and then rebuilt it. It is not pretty.
So make sure you're paying attention in the directions.
— Features —
I think a great many Nifeliz fans would love to see the actual Nifeliz system being utilized for this set, you know, actually building universal ones to make more realistic cars. Fortunately for us, Nifeliz actually utilized that idea to create Nifeliz Pickup Truck M150 6x6 Car Building Kit and man, does it look cool?
As a matter of fact, this car looks just like the real truck. This is a beast.
First off, looking at the front side, a binder chain is found on the left side of the bumper, which is a definite plus, making it a mean-looking beast.
The hood opens up, revealing a V6 engine and those yellow pistons. Then you can see the nice cool engine has these pipes. That's very realistic. As you move the car, we can see the little pistons going up and down and it's really cool how this engine is actually functional.
And what's more, the hood strut acts as a prop rod to hold the hood up, which I like, so you can showcase the nice cool engine.
You can keep the hood up by just puting the hood lift support up. On the front side, there's a license plate with a special type of number on there. I'm not sure what it refers to.
Taking a look at the sides, it's very accurate-looking.
Looking at the wheels, they have the big hubcaps, which I believe are accurate to the real truck. As you can see, they do turn by themselves or you can turn the wheels yourself, but the steering wheel can't turn the wheels, which I don't really like that much.
However, you'll usually find this type of functionality in most Nifeliz Technic sets. Like Nifeliz KV1 Car Building Kit, this one does turn with the steering wheel.
Next up, all six wheels have spring shocks. Its independent suspension is pretty good. There are side mirrors that rotate are represented by two grey stickers.
They seem real. It also has other stickers on the side, like on the doors and the bed. They look very nice. And then of course you also have the front and rear cabin doors that open on both sides.
Looking at the back side, the detail in the back is really nice.
There is a spare tire on the back, which I like. It's one of the things I liked about this truck when I saw it.
The tailgate goes down.
You could take the cover off the bed if you want, revealing the fake motor, which was made for the real one, but as you can't find any motors for this car on Amazon, they just built the fake one to replace it. So I think the designers cover it up on purpose. That's a neat idea.
On the back side, it also has a license plate where you'll see there's a sticker that says cross country.
Although I am not too crazy about detailed interiors, it's nice when the car builds have them. However, this interior looks perfectly fine to me.
There're two front row seats, one for your driver and one for your passenger. And then you also have rear seats as well for other passengers.
In the front, there' a dashboard sticker, indicating all of that detail as well.
As well as the steering wheel, there is also the gear switch, so you can switch the gear. For example, you can just put it in the middle.
Looking underneath, you can see the drivetrain and all of that are very detailed.
So over here, as you can see, there are three different differential gears. There's one in the front. There's the middle one and the one at the very end. These things are what make the tires move. Furthermore, this incredible truck right here has six-wheel drive. Let's try to go on six-wheel drive. The wheels actually did engage. So six-wheel drive blew my mind.
The black exterior looks just right.
Blacks seem to be the most common colors, for I've seen the Ford Raptor plenty of times on the road and they're usually black. And also one thing I like about the exterior is that the orange stickers are neat. I know the orange is like a new color for the 2021 model year. They're really cool and I think they're the realistic stickers.
And not only that, but those roof marker lights make the whole car even more realistic.
Last but not least, almost all the pieces fit together tight.
When you play with other builds, some parts will slip off or a certain piece keeps on falling off. That might make you mad. But this is not the case with this one. These are staying in there.
— Nifeliz Pickup Truck M150 6x6 Car Building Kit
VS
LEGO Technic Ford F-150 Raptor 42126 Building Kit —
Nifeliz is the brand who have big cars which are worth the price. They might be a little more pricey, but it's still worth the price of what you're getting. The cost of this set on Amazon is $149.95 with 3218 Pieces while the one of LEGO Technic Ford F-150 Raptor 42126 Building Kit is $119.96 with only 1,379 Pieces. Although there are more than twice the pieces of Lego, the price of Nifeliz is just a bit higher.
They both have different advantages and disadvantages. The quality of both these kits is quite nice. As for their features, Nifeliz Cars Collectible Building Blocks Toy for Adults is a very cool and realistic model and it'll make a nice addition to our display cabinet.
By contrast, LEGO Technic Ford F-150 Raptor 42126 Building Kit is more of a toy for kids. At least to me it is. For instance, it is very bouncy. If you can't play with it, you can let a little kid play with that.
In conclusion, considering that though Nifeliz 1:8 Scale Race Car Model Engineering Toy is far more inexpensive than Lego, the features to this set and the quality of it are good enough, I believe that the price is an advantage to this set and Nifeliz Pickup Truck M150 6x6 Car Building Kit beats Lego there. Well done.
— Summary —
All in all, Nifeliz Pickup Truck M150 6x6 Car Building Kit is a perfect build for me. This is a beautiful build. This is a thought-out build. This is a durable build and is worth the price. This is also my favorite.
As I've shown you guys, one problem or one thing I don't like about this car is that the steering wheel can't turn the wheels. Since I'm not going to be using it that much for anything, still it's fine. I still love it.

This model looks great! I wish they would also make a Ford F-150 Raptor 4x4 to make a closer comparison to the Lego version
ReplyDeleteMissing parts, I bought two sets and both have larger pieces missing, not ones that are small enough to lose by being dropped
ReplyDeleteNefelize is repackaged Lego. Just order missing parts from them.
ReplyDeleteHere it says, Nifeliz has a CE certification: https://brickfact.com/blog/bricks/nifeliz-vs-lego Is this correct?
