Review: Nifeliz KV1 Car Building Kit
Have you ever heard that nobody that designs Lego cars really works on cars and wondered how to build universal ones to make more realistic cars? Fortunately for us, we have Nifeliz, who actually utilize that idea to create this set and that's why I love this car so much.
What's up, guys? Welcome back to our blog. It's Victor from the Nifeliz team here. Nifeliz's sets are not Lego but compatible.
Today we're going to be reviewing this incredible car. First things first, we're going to learn about its details.
— Set details —
This one is called Nifeliz KV1 Car Building Kit and it consists of 2223 pieces. So this build is a modified version of a certain sports car and as you can see, it looks awesome. This says it's recommended for ages 16 and up. Okay, let's open this up and show you guys what's inside.
Do you think you have any more creative uses for the brick separator? Let me know.
— Completion —
Okay, guys. So here it is the completed Cars Collectible Building Blocks Toy for Adults. This thing took us hours to make and we had a lot of fun building it.
So we started off by building the motor and the rest of the drivetrain. It didn't look very pretty as we were building it. It was not until we got to the final bags when we started putting on the exterior of the car, but it was very interesting to see how everything worked.
The instructions were easy to follow, for the instruction manual has different numbers for different steps and all the bags are numbered. All we needed to do was find the bag with the number we were looking for.
When it comes to a Technic build, this is a great idea. So probably the most frustrating part of building a Technic model is making a mistake and not realizing it right away. What invariably happens is that you're linking all these pieces together. Once you have a structure built, it's basically impossible to go back and add something or fix something that you did wrong. In most stacking block sets, you can usually trace back the steps, find your mistake, find it on the model and then do some little building block surgery and then either stick in a piece or remove a piece or switch it around. However, as for a Technic build, you really can't do that. In order to get back to them, you have to disassemble everything that comes after. Imagine your dismay and surprise when you actually have to disassemble everything and then rebuilt it. It is not pretty.
This 1:10 Scale Race Car Model Engineering Toy also comes with a bunch of print pieces instead of any stickers, which is great news for us. Stickers can be very challenging. Some people do not even attempt them.
— Features —
The Nifeliz KV1 Car Building Kit appears exactly what I have wanted although this is a 1:10 scale replica of a concept car and the design is radical. In fact, this is a masterpiece right here.
First of all, here's a look at the front of the car. We have the signature Bugatti horseshoe-shaped front grille. It looks nice.
We have the headlights. They’re composed of these red clear pieces that are kind of built in a low-key fashion. The bumpers look correct.
Then on the side right here, the doors both swing open. We have print for the exterior of the door, which is very realistic.
We've got some silver wheels just like the real car. All four wheels have spring shocks. Its indepedent suspension is very cool. However, there are no side mirrors.
But yeah so we have the back right here. The hood does open. As we move the car, the engine moves, but because of the engine bay cover, we can't see the little pistons actually going up and down. I guess the designers sacrificed a bit of functionality for reality.
